The past few weeks have been pretty hectic in the Husum household. I had a bachelorette party in Portland, then a weekend home, then my sweet grandmother passed away, so I spent 4 days in the mid-west with family. Then we celebrated my birthday last weekend. So its been a busy and emotional few weeks.
Lately, our weather has been gorgeous, which has definitely put a huge smile on my face. It has stuck around 70-80 degrees which is perfect. Any hotter and I need a beach or pool nearby! Since it’s been so nice, I’ve been loving off the shoulder tops and anything with floral prints. Banana Republic had this blouse in their window last weekend and it totally lured me in. Not only did I love the print, but I love the detail in the pleats. Simply, subtle, but says so much all at the same time. My kind of blouse!
Since it was such a sweet blouse, I thought I’d pair it with my distressed denim to add a little edge to the outfit. And rounded it out with my short, patent, nude pumps (that I normally wear to work, but they totally worked for church too!).
Now, let’s move to this handbag! My best friend gave it to me for my birthday cause she knew I wanted a cross body, saddle bag AND I love the Chloe handbags that look just like this one. Honestly, I can’t bring myself to spend over a grand for a cross body bag. This one is perfect, looks identical, and the color….I can’t even! It’s perfect. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right blush color, but ya’ll, this blush is perfection. I think of blush like I think of nude. It can go with anything, any color, any style, etc.
