Ok ya’ll, ever since I got pregnant, I have NOT been wanting to buy a ton of maternity clothes unless I knew I could wear it after pregnancy. Now, obviously as I get bigger, I’m going to have no choice, but throughout the summer I’m sticking to my favorite pre-pregnancy dresses.
This past weekend we celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary at a local farm to table restaurant. So I had to dress up. Now, since I already have the mentality that I don’t want to purchase a ton of new maternity clothes that I’ll wear once and almost never wear again (unless we have another baby – God willing!). So I started shopping online (since many stores don’t have a maternity section in store – including Nordstrom). Nordstrom has absolutely darling maternity clothes but they are so expensive.
Then I came across ASOS.com and ya’ll – I’m addicted. Hands down THE cutest, cost friendly maternity clothes ever. I’ve already bought 2 sweaters for the fall that were on sale ($25 a piece) and a bridesmaid dress for one of my best girlfriends weddings (and that was on sale for $80!). So when it came to finding a fun, maternity dress (that I could potentially wear post pregnancy) for my parent’s anniversary – I went straight to ASOS.com and found the dress above. The best thing about it is I didn’t have to wear a bra or get it hemmed – and it was on sale for $60! I felt like I hit the jackpot.
So my ladies in the market for maternity clothes that are affordable, cute, and will grow with your bump – head to ASOS. You won’t be disappointed. Happy Friday!
