Is anyone else starting to prepare for the holidays (or am I the only one!)? Every year around this time (October, to be exact), I start to brainstorm gift ideas for friends and family members and then craft a budget for October, November and December. This way, it’s not December 15th and I have $500 worth of gifts to buy :/ And to ensure they get here in time for Christmas (yikes!) Not that there is anything wrong with that, but given I’m 100% a Type-A person, I just feel like I need to ‘plan’.
Now, beyond holiday gifts we have to plan for – we also have to plan our holiday outfits for those family holiday get togethers and work parties. And I don’t know about you, but once the holidays roll around, I feel bad buying things for myself when I need to be buying gifts for family and friends – so I like to get a head start on planning looks now (call me crazy!) – starting with this one.
This look would be perfect for friend and family holiday parties – the leopard is on-trend right now and the pop of red adds that festive feel. Plus, these pants are super comfy and under $60!
For your work parties, I recommend this outfit because it looks professional and playful from the high neckline to the ruffles to the animal print – all work appropriate. One change I’d make would be the shoes – I’d recommend pairing this look with heels to give it a dressier look.
