As a 5’0 gal, I have always worn heels – like always. To the point where I have calluses <insert head shake>. Recently, my husband, Chuck, was like, you need to hop on the flats train – he’s worried I’m going to hurt my back and just all around mess up my feet. So I compromised and told him I’d throw in some flats into my shoe game and give my feet a break from heels.
These Gucci flats are ones we purchased back in February/March and they are THE most comfortable flats I own. I can wear them all day at work and I get no blisters (which is a win/win!). Now, given I’m only 5’0, I’ve always felt that flats were a bit of an enemy because I feel frumpy when I wear them. Well, my petite ladies – I’ve figured out how to make them work without feeling like a troll (I know, so bad!).
- Pair with Boyfriend Denim. These boyfriend jeans have been my all time favorite – I talk about them in this post and have been wearing them on repeat ever since I purchased them. What I love about them, is they are the perfect length – not too short and not too long – and are easy to pair with some flats and still feel cute. Try it out and let me know what you think!
- The Artsy Look. Lately, I’ve been wearing flats with leggings and a long, chill tunic. It certainly dresses up a more relaxed look and is super comfortable. I will be posting this look next week, so stay tuned.
- Easy Office Skirt Look. I love the look of flats with a pencil skirt and a white, collared button up shirt. It’s comfortable and easy to walk from meeting to meeting.
What do you pair your flats with?
